Recently, the General Office of the State Council issued the "National Nutrition Plan (2021-2030)" implementation plan, incorporating the "establishment of a life-cycle weight monitoring and management system" into its key objectives. This policy signifies an upgrade of China's citizen weight management from a public health issue to a national strategic project, setting a rigid indicator for the construction of a Healthy China.

According to the newly released "Report on the Nutritional and Chronic Disease Status of Chinese Residents (2023)" by the National Health Commission, the overweight rate among residents aged 18 and above in China has reached 37.2%, and the obesity rate is 14.7%, increasing by 8.3% and 4.8% respectively compared to 2015. The data reflects a series of social problems such as the younger onset of chronic diseases and rising medical expenditures. Wang Linhong, chief expert in chronic disease prevention and control at the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, points out: "Weight management is no longer just a personal health issue, but also an important public health issue related to the quality of national economic development."

Driven by policies, the great health industry is forming a complete ecological chain of "monitoring-intervention-management." The "National Healthy Weight Smart Cloud Platform," jointly launched by the General Administration of Sport of China and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, has connected to more than 200 community health service stations nationwide. This platform uses AI body measurement equipment and wearable devices to collect data in real time, establishing dynamic health records for residents. According to Xinhua News Agency, Qingdao, a pilot city, has achieved a 42% increase in the annual weight loss target rate for key groups through this system.

It is worth noting that the State Administration for Market Regulation recently issued the "Weight Management Service Specification," clarifying the qualification standards for health weight management service institutions. Industry insiders analyze that this move will push the industry to transition from extensive development to professional services, and it is expected to create a precise health management market exceeding 200 billion yuan by 2025.

Driven by both policy benefits and market demand, Hold Health Group, as a large health industry enterprise, is deeply involved in the construction of the national health management system. It continues to increase R&D investment, forming a structure with the Zhengzhou Hold TCM Clinic at its core, and health management centers and food-based health products as its two wings. It continuously brings high-quality health products to the market and develops increasingly personalized health conditioning plans for customers.
